Nahas Nazars’s directorial development – Asif Ali and Suraj Venjaramoodu starrer ‘Adios Amigo’ which released on August 09, 2024. it is directed and produced by Aji Peter Thankam and Ashiq Usman respectively.

Asif Ali is portrayed as calm and careless person who takes things as they come. So it is that Suraj Venjaramoodu’s character is the exact opposite of Asif Ali’s. He is the kind of person who covers each and every step of his life so carefully that nothing can go wrong.

Besides the lead couple, “Adios Amigo” also features other reliable and colourful supporting characters that one deals with the tastes of the residents more in depth.

Shine Tom Chacko, Ganapathi, Althaf Salim, Jinu Joseph and Salim Hassan populate the scenes with genuine depth and humor further helping to enhance the plot.

Shine Tom Chacko and Ganapathi are the beneficiaries whose existence deepens the players and narrative of the film comically. Their roles cause some added disorder and complexity in the interactions with the leading pair.

However, Althaf Salim and Jinu Joseph are surrounded by characters whose influence mainstreams the emotions in the plot.

Music and Cinematography

Gopi Sundar’s music, primarily related to the film, has also been instrumental on the verge of two emotional or even comically heightened scenes. The songs are jolly, catchy and fit well with the mood of the movie.

The background music flows well with the events taking place and makes the scenes more interesting rather than being a distraction.

Jimshi Khalid’s work as a cinematographer should be credited for beautifully portraying the sights and landscapes of the various events that characters take on in the film.

With the help of panoramic views and a plethora of colors, he is able to provide a feast for eye of the onlookers. The way it is done with each shot, the motion is as if it would goal not just be physical, but emotional and spiritual for the characters as well.

Review

There were some of the funny sequences in the film where Asif Ali’s easy going and promising factor adds humour as his character gets into comical situations.

As the narrative advances, the director successfully draws the viewers attention to the hidden aspects of the character played by asif ali.
